Renault Espa\u00f1a leads an innovative project to create an industrial ecosystem focused on manufacturing electric and connected vehicles and bringing together 31 initiatives involving decarbonisation, connectivity and mobility as a service.<\/p>

Tecnivial is a member of the ecosystem group lead by Renault.<\/strong><\/p>

The members cover all areas of the future industrial ecosystem: technological companies, clean energy, circular economy, vehicle and component manufacturing, batteries, universities and technological centres. They are spread over around 10 autonomous communities with 70% of them being SMEs. The 50 members who make up the group of companies led by Renault have presented a tractor project to PERTE (strategic Project for Economic Recovery and Transformation) for the Electric and Connected Vehicle (ECV) whose objective is to make Spain a leader in sustainable mobility. The project brings together a total of 31 initiatives structured around 3 main points: decarbonisation, connectivity and mobility as a service. As for decarbonisation, this involves initiatives related to hydrogen, carbon neutral fuels, batteries or the weight reduction of materials, among others.<\/p>

With regard to the second point – connectivity – this includes the different initiatives relating to digitalisation, the development of electronic platforms for vehicles or connectivity. One example is the ARTUS initiative, which offers a design for different test infrastructures for autonomous and connected vehicles in various autonomous communities (CC. AA.) Additionally, with regard to the aim of mobility as a service, new technologies will be developed that allow for innovative functionalities to be given to vehicles.<\/p>

The tractor project will be led by Renault Espa\u00f1a S.A.The group is made up of 50 companies that cover all areas of the future industrial ecosystem, technology companies, clean energy, circular economy, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, services, vehicle manufacturing, components and batteries. Also, there are universities and technological centres, promoting public-private collaboration.<\/strong><\/p>

\u201cThis is a very complete project, as it brings together all the knowledge for the manufacture of electric vehicles and connected in a sustainable and cybersecure way, strengthens R+D+i in Spain and facilitates the development of environments linked to electric, autonomous and connected vehicles, which prepares Spain to become a leader in sustainable mobility,” said Jos\u00e9 Vicente de los Mozos, Renault Group’s global industrial director and CEO of Renault Spain.<\/p><\/blockquote>

This project, launched with the collaboration of the consultancy firm Zabala Innovation, starts from the submission of the application to the Ministry of Industry and will end on June 30, 2025.<\/p>
