Optimising the materials makes the sign even lighter in comparison to those of steel or aluminium and means it is extremely competitive from a technical and economic standpoint.
They have been subjected to strict tests for resistance, tensile strength, breakage, flexibility and durability, and have undergone wind tunnel tests exceeding wind stress equivalent to a train passing through a tunnel at more than 310 km/h (192.63 mph), complying with European regulations; EN 12899-1, as well as achieving the CE MARK.
